Apparently computer processing power doubles every eighteen months. So, you have keep on top of things to keep you computer up-to-date. There are a few ways of upgrading your computer.

• One way, the most expensive, is to buy a new system.
• Another way is to buy a "bare bones" system. Much cheaper
• A third way ,very much the cheapest, is to replace the motherboard with new processor and memory.("motherboard bundle")

Buying a new system is the most costly way. Why fork out for a new monitor, keyboard and mouse, if you already have them.

A bare bones system consists of a motherboard (with processor and RAM) already fitted into a PC case. This choice means you don?t have to mess around with connections and things.

The cheapest way is to buy a motherboard with the processor and RAM already installed. Usually referred to as a ?mothgerboard bundle? You do however need to fit it into your own PC case (after removing the old one, obviously). This way you would need to make all the connections from the case to the motherboard, these usually include the power switch, front USB and hard drive LED. You also need to attach the hard drive.These thing arent that difficult as you are supplied with precise instructions.
